Yield trials in such a small area are certainly not going to be the most accurate but I believe they have value in that they can reflect the productivity of a crop species in average home garden conditions. I do not have a magic green thumb and am not the most attentive gardener in the world, so any results I get should be easily replicable in my climate with a bit of care. Do take these numbers with a grain of salt – I live in the Willamette Valley of Oregon and your results are certainly going to vary drastically based on location and growing conditions.
